Welcome to book your accommodation in Gothenburg for IAGG-ER 2019

Sweden MEETX is the official provider of hotel rooms for the conference delegates partaking in IAGG-ER 2019 and a number of hotel rooms in different price categories have been pre-booked in Gothenburg for the event.

Hotel Gothia Towers is the venue hotel located in direct connection to the conference venue, the Swedish Exhibition and Congress Centre (Svenska Mässan).

All prices quoted are in Swedish Kronor (SEK) and excluding 12 % VAT. Payment can be made by credit card or by invoice for Swedish organizations with Swedish VAT number. The total amount and full prepayment of the hotel reservation, as calculated on the booking, must be transferred or paid when the booking is submitted.

All rooms include breakfast and free WiFi.

If you have any questions, get personal service or if you wish to make a group booking of more than 10 rooms, please contact us via email or telephone. All changes and cancellations shall be sent by email.

If you are attending the conference you can book your hotel at the same time as registering for the conference.

Scam hotels warning:

We would like to make you aware there are currently a number of scam companies contacting participants attending events around the world, pretending to be part of the IAGG-ER organisation. Please note that IAGG-ER or the conference bureau Sweden Meetx will never contact any participant or exhibitor directly to sell hotels or make any kind of travel arrangements. Anyone contacting you offering such services on our behalf is not part of the IAGG-ER team.

We recommend you to report any contact with companies such as these to your local fraud office. IAGG-ER holds no liability for hotels and or travel booked through non-recommended hotel or airline partners. Please be careful in booking your hotel and travel arrangements.

The registration and hotel booking platform via the IAGG-ER congress website is run in total by Sweden Meetx, if we contact you for any matters it will be either by email coming from iagger@meetx.se or a +46 number.

Hotel Gothia Towers – Venue Hotel

Method of payment

The total amount and full prepayment of the hotel reservation, as calculated on the booking, must be transferred or paid by credit card, when the booking is submitted. All payments should be made in Swedish Crowns (SEK). All bank transfer charges in connection with transferring fees are to be paid by the visitor. No personal, company or Euro-cheques will be accepted. Payment is done by credit card, we accept Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Please note that all credit card payments are made through secure and encrypted online payment gateway, and will be listed as a transaction with Sweden Meetx AB on your credit card statement. For Swedish organizations with valid vat number invoice is possible as a choice when making the booking.

VAT
Swedish tax legislation requires visitors to pay the hotel fee including Swedish VAT (12%) which may be reimbursed according to specific regulations in your country. If you are from a country in the EU area, please search for refund of VAT at your tax office, in your home country. Cancellation policy for hotel reservations

1-10 hotel rooms:

When the reservation is confirmed until 8 weeks before arrival, no charge will be taken if reservation is cancelled
From 8 to 6 weeks before arrival – 50% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged.
From 6 to 4 weeks before arrival – 80% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged.
We regret that no cancellation within 4 weeks before arrival will be refunded.

Please note that change of arrival/departure dates within this deadline is to be counted as cancellation. Changes and/or cancellations has to be made directly to Sweden MEETX AB and not to the hotel.

More than 10 hotel rooms:

When the reservation is confirmed until 12 weeks before arrival, no charge will be taken if reservation is cancelled
From 12 to 8 weeks before arrival – 50% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged.
From 8 to 4 weeks before arrival – 80% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged.
We regret that no cancellation within 4 weeks before arrival will be refunded.
